1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using Mawajib, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Mawajib.
Where you submit a service request, accept a quotation, make a booking, place an order or complete a transaction through Mawajib, additional service-specific terms may also apply.
2. About Mawajib
Mawajib is a digital marketplace for discovering and connecting with event-service providers across the United Arab Emirates.
The platform may include services for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, private gatherings, entertainment, catering, photography, decoration, guest services and other event-related categories.
Mawajib provides technology that helps customers discover vendors and interact with them. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the vendor providing a service remains responsible for delivering that service.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must have legal capacity under applicable law to enter into transactions through Mawajib.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when creating or using an account is accurate and up to date.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity performed through your account, except where unauthorized activity results from circumstances for which Mawajib is legally responsible.
- Do not share your password or authentication credentials with unauthorized persons.
- Notify Mawajib promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You may be required to verify your identity or account information before accessing certain features.
4. Sign-In and Authentication
Mawajib may allow authentication using email and password, Google, Apple or other supported authentication methods.
The same eligible Mawajib customer account may be used across supported Mawajib website and mobile application experiences.
Third-party authentication providers operate under their own terms and policies.
5. Vendors and Marketplace Relationship
Vendors displayed on Mawajib may be independent businesses or service providers.
Unless Mawajib expressly identifies itself as the direct provider of a particular service, the agreement for performance of that service is between the customer and the relevant vendor.
Mawajib may provide marketplace tools, communication features, quotation tools, payment functionality and other technology to facilitate that relationship.
A vendor is responsible for the accuracy of its business information, service descriptions, availability, licensing, qualifications, pricing and performance of its services.
6. Service Listings and Information
Mawajib aims to provide useful and accurate marketplace information, but service listings are generally created or supplied by vendors.
Images, descriptions, pricing, availability, capacity, duration, location and other details may differ depending on the vendor or event requirements.
Customers should review the final quotation, service details and agreed requirements before confirming a booking or transaction.
7. Requests, Quotes and Bookings
When available, Mawajib may allow customers to contact vendors, request quotes, discuss requirements, make bookings or submit service requests.
A request sent through Mawajib does not necessarily create a confirmed booking unless the vendor or platform clearly confirms acceptance.
The final scope, price, date, location, deliverables and other requirements should be confirmed before performance of the service.
Where a digital contract, quotation or checkout confirmation is provided, those details form part of the applicable transaction terms.
8. Prices, Fees and Payments
Prices displayed on Mawajib may be fixed, estimated, starting prices or subject to quotation depending on the service.
Any applicable platform fees, service fees, payment charges, taxes, delivery or logistics charges should be disclosed where required before completion of the relevant transaction.
Where payment functionality is available, payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers.
Mawajib does not require customers to provide payment card credentials directly to vendors unless the relevant payment flow clearly states otherwise.
9. Cancellations, Refunds and Changes
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling and modification rights may depend on the service, vendor, booking status and applicable law.
Any vendor-specific cancellation or refund conditions should be made available before or during confirmation of the relevant transaction where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UAE law.
10. Communications and Chat
Mawajib may provide chat, enquiry, quotation, notification or messaging features that allow users and vendors to communicate.
You should use these features only for legitimate marketplace and event-related purposes.
Mawajib may retain communications where reasonably necessary for platform operation, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security or legal compliance, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Reviews, Ratings and User Content
Where reviews, ratings, comments, photos or other user-generated content are available, users must provide content that is lawful, relevant and based on genuine experience.
You must not post false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent or unlawful content.
Mawajib may moderate, restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or comply with law.
12. Prohibited Use
You must not misuse Mawajib or interfere with the normal operation or security of the platform.
- Do not use Mawajib for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activities.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data.
- Do not upload malware, malicious code or harmful content.
- Do not scrape, copy or extract platform data at scale without authorization.
- Do not impersonate another person, vendor or organization.
- Do not use Mawajib to harass, threaten or abuse other users or vendors.
- Do not manipulate reviews, ratings, bookings, pricing or other marketplace activity.
13. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors using Mawajib are responsible for maintaining accurate information about their business and services.
Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining licenses, permits, approvals, insurance or professional qualifications required for their activities where applicable.
Vendors must not advertise or provide prohibited, unlawful, misleading or unauthorized services through Mawajib.
Separate vendor, subscription, commission or commercial terms may apply to vendor accounts or vendor-panel functionality.
14. Intellectual Property
The Mawajib name, branding, platform design, software, interface, original content and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Mawajib unless otherwise stated.
You may use Mawajib only for personal or legitimate business marketplace purposes permitted by these Terms.
You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, distribute or commercially exploit Mawajib technology or protected content without authorization, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
15. Privacy and Personal Information
Our handling of personal information is described in the Mawajib Privacy Policy.
By using Mawajib, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in that policy and in accordance with applicable law.
16. Third-Party Services
Mawajib may use or link to third-party services including authentication providers, payment processors, hosting providers, cloud infrastructure, maps, social platforms or external websites.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Mawajib is not responsible for third-party services to the extent that their operation is outside Mawajib’s reasonable control.
17. Platform Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Mawajib available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
We may maintain, update, modify, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal or business reasons.
We may also introduce new services, features, pricing models or marketplace functionality in the future.
18. Suspension and Termination
Mawajib may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, serious or repeated violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, misuse of the platform or legal requirements.
Users may stop using Mawajib at any time and may request account deletion subject to applicable retention requirements.
19. Marketplace Disclaimer
Mawajib provides a marketplace and technology platform for discovering and interacting with service providers.
Unless Mawajib is expressly identified as the service provider, Mawajib does not itself perform the underlying vendor service.
To the extent permitted by law, Mawajib is not responsible for matters solely within an independent vendor’s control, including the vendor’s performance, personnel, equipment or failure to fulfill agreed service requirements.
This section does not exclude any responsibility that Mawajib cannot lawfully exclude.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mawajib will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from use of the platform where such liability may lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections or liability arising from fraud or other matters for which exclusion is prohibited by law.
21. Responsibility for Your Misuse
You are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful use of Mawajib, your material breach of these Terms, or content you submit where responsibility may lawfully be assigned to you.
This provision applies only to the extent permitted under applicable law.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Disputes relating to Mawajib will be handled by the competent courts or authorities having jurisdiction in the UAE, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules and any other jurisdictional requirements imposed by applicable law.
Before commencing formal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact Mawajib support so that the matter can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, features, commercial arrangements, technology or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Where required by law or appropriate because of a material change, additional notice may be provided.
